FiiO FT1 60mm Dynamic Driver

The huge 60mm diaphragm primarily consists of carefully selected paper wood fibers, combined with a precise amount of carbon fiber, for light weight and high stiffness, providing excellent audio reproduction. 

The headphone housing incorporates a variety of features that specifically enhance the closed-back listening experience. A series of sound insulation components inside effectively reduce ambient noise by up to 26dB for excellent isolation. Whether you’re commuting, editing recordings, working in an office, or gaming, it allows you to immerse yourself in high-fidelity audio. 

The U-shaped sound damping tube (like a vent or port in speakers) specifically developed for the FiiO FT1 allows sound energy to pass through a specific length and angle of the opening, reducing the resonance frequency for a cleaner, deeper response. This further enhances bass extension so you’ll hear and feel the air movement and the focused power of beautiful low end reproduction. 

For people doing at home pro studio use, it is easy to drive, which makes it a great match for any compact usb interface and it has excellent frequency extension - it is rated from 10 - 40,ooo Hz.

This is an easy to drive, efficient headphone by design. To achieve this, it features a low impedance design of 32Ω along with a fairly high sensitivity of 98dB/mW. To make it more compact and lightweight, the headband features high-quality ball bearing slides. They are durable and will help extend the lifespan of the headphone compared with the common plastic sliders found on many brands. 

The headband offers 12 notches of adjustment range to accommodate various head sizes with great comfort. The part of the headband in contact with the head is made of suede leather material for a soft and comfortable wearing experience. It is a light feeling headphone with low clamping feel on the sides and just right padding on top - comfort has been found to be excellent for a huge range of head shapes and sizes.

The earpads contribute to both the audio quality and the fit as well. There is a large enough opening for almost everyone to have a roomy feel around their ears, great for wearing for hours at a time. Both cables are made using an oxygen-free silver-plated copper wire base with 392 wires, are of 24AWG thickness, perfect for high res and lossless audio. These are wrapped in a braided wrap that feels like an after market cable you would buy separately.
